Also, assuming xlsread is a SourceForge project, not part of Octave,
it is not clear where you report SourceForge bugs. Their one mailing
list is not bug-specific, is not mirrored on gmane but requires a
subscription, which is a real drag, and they imply that posting on
an Octave mailing list will do just as well. It that irks you, then
you should tell _them_ and request that they clarify the language on
this page: http://octave.sourceforge.net/archive.html
