Well, there's not much to say about the "problem" but
if you really need one take e.g.:

x=[0:pi/10:2*pi]; plot(x,sin(x));

I think this is reasonably simple. ;) I have a 3.0 GHz
P4 with Debian Sarge and gnuplot 4.0. Don't know if
that information helps. I just wanted to know if there
are any known problems with plot and some
configurations in general. I didn't find much about
this on the web. The only thing I found is a hint
about changing the gnuplot terminal, but that applied
to the Windows version.
