That works for me, Dimitri. My 2.1.71 loadpath was what was killing my
2.1.73 implementation. Now I've eliminated everything but personal
specifications in .octaverc, e.g.,
LOADPATH = [LOADPATH, ':~/octave/oct//:~/octave/m//'];
and everything seems to be working fine with HPC Octave 2.1.73.
