Thank you Gaurav and Joe. Sorry for delay. Now this was an easy installation
on an 'older" iMac (G3, 400 Mhz, with 192 MB SDRAM) with clean install of
Mac OS X version 10.4.5 (per upgrade) and developer tools installed about 6
months ago. Nothing else.

It was just sitting there waiting for installation of new version of octave.
Installation of octave version 2.1.73 from HPC site took less than a minute
yesterday. Gnuplot link now worked and provided the gnuplot.pkg (dmg), which
I installed after first downloading the Aquaterm.pkg (dmg).

Everything seems to work. I assume that the Aquaterm.pkg installed via
HPC/gnuplot links is the same as the one put together by Per Persson.
Thanks again to everybody.
Henry
