Why are you asking here? Isn't there a support forum for ncurses?
I think "a cray" is a little to vague for anyone to help. These days,
that could mean anything from specialized hardware to an Opteron
system running Linux.
In any case, you might get better results if you also provided more
details about the problems you encountered when you tried to build it
on your system.
