Hello,
Sorry for bring this again, but I would like to ask the following: Now that
octave has "suboptimal" optimization capabilities and there are nice tools in
the COIN-R project under the CPL (which is not compatible with the GPL),
would it be viable to interface Octave and those tools by formulating
optimization problems in the AMPL language? May one use it freely?
Or would it be better to implement an XML based interface?
