I'm running octave-2.1.50a-inst.exe on Windows98, and on
another system, Windows XP
the 'ulong' phrase writes a single set of 4 bytes for a
variable.
fwrite(fid,variable,'ulong');
when I check the file created with hex editor, there are 4
bytes representing the value of variable.
