Hi again,
Thanks Paul that was an amazing answer, you just about told everything I
need to know. Anyway I (surprise) have two more questions:
1) So what type is used in as element type in an octave matrix? Is it
double?
2) When I compile using mkoctfile I need to pass some flags to the
compiler in order to link with OpenCV, which is the library I need to
use. In order to compile a OpenCV project I usualy do:
g++ -Wall `opencv-config --cflags` `opencv-config --libs` -o myfile
myfile.cc
But do I do this with mkoctfile?
opencv-config --cflags returns "-I/opt/OpenCV/include/opencv" and
opencv-config --libs returns "-L/opt/OpenCV/lib -lopencv -lcvaux
-lhighgui" so I tried
mkoctfile -IDIR/opt/OpenCV/include/opencv -LDIR/opt/OpenCV/lib
-lLIBopencv -lLIBcvaux -lLIBhighgui myfile.cc
But that didn't work.
Thanks,
Søren
