I am trying to build 2.1.49 on Suse 8.2. I used configure with share
enabled and got following error

L../liboctave -L../libcruft -L../src \
-loctinterp -loctave -lcruft ../glob/glob.o ../glob/fnmatch.o \
-lblas -lreadline -lncurses -ldl -lm -L/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/3.3
-L/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/3.3/../../../../i486-suse-linux/lib
-L/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/3.3/../../.. -lfrtbegin -lg2c -lm -lgcc_s
../libcruft/libcruft.so: undefined reference to `zdrot_'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [octave] Error 1

make[1]: *** [src] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ajay/tmp/octave-2.1.49'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Can anyone please help.

Ajay
