avoiding focus for gnuplot window

  Stef>  Hello, when I make a plot, the gnuplot window gets the focus (so I
  Stef> have to click on the terminal where octave runs to continue with
  Stef> octave). Can this be avoided?

That depends on your window manager, and not Octave or Gnuplot per se. It is
possible with some window managers.
