Perhaps someday. For now, I don't think gcc supports it well enough
for it to be usable on all platforms. For example, I recently tried
to write a simple program using STL lists and found that it would not
work on some systems because the mangled names were too long for some
assemblers to handle. This is a well-known problem, but as I see it,
there is no suitable fix yet.
