i have tried upgrading to octave 2.0.12 and octave 2.0.13 but
keep getting run time errors. (retyping the output - damn microsoft
for lack of cut-n-paste from command terms) here is what i get:
(C:\octave\bin\octave.bin 1000) Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Error: segmentation violation -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to `octave-core'...
save to `octave-core' complete
it doesn't seem to matter what i run, just that i run for a bit
(a few active seconds).
if i have structs declared (e.g., a.a = 3; a.b = 4;) i get a complaint
from save about unknown type `struct' when octave is saving to the
core file.
i am using cygwin32 b19.1 (b19 w/ the b19.1 cygwin32.dll update)
and have installed mumit khan's binary of egcs-1.0.2.
is anyone else getting this type of error? perhaps my setup is hosed?
thanks
