Hi,
The Real type was not useful in any of the main drivers of libtasn1 (x.509 due to gnutls). If you need this type on libtasn1, I'd suggest to send a merge request with the support for it, and a small functionality test suite for it.

Nikos

Hello,
I am writing an application which requires online ASN parsing without code generation and it seems that libtasn1 is the only alternative for it. Unfortunately, REAL type support is required in my application. Thus, I have some questions:
1. I saw REAL type support in "future developments" plans. Can I hope that it will be implemented soon?
2. If not, why? Are there some problems with it? May be, I can implement it myself for my project.
3. Are there some free libtasn1 alternatives with online ASN parsing and REAL type support?
