Source: libidn
Version: 1.33-1
Severity: wishlist
Currently, the libidn source package is involved in build dependency
cycles such as:
libidn Build-Depends on gcj-jdk
gcj-jdk Depends on gcj-6-jdk
gcc-6 Build-Depends on libgtk2.0-dev
gtk+2.0 Build-Depends on libcups2-dev
cups Build-Depends on ghostscript
ghostscript Build-Depends on libidn11-dev
It would be nice if the Build-Depends on gcj-jdk could be moved to
Build-Depends-Indep. (I did recently see notifications that gcj will
be going away in Debian soon. But even if you switch over to using
default-jdk, that would still create a build dependency cycle since
openjdk-8 Build-Depends on libcups2-dev also.)
