testing error gsasl-1.4.0

Freebsd 6.3 amd64,  system mem 4G

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/sasl --with-libiconv-prefix=/usr/local/libiconv
make and gmake were both tried, same errors.

I can find no errors in compiling or warnings. I verified error was not 
coming out of libiconv.
make disclean was also tried.
