Hello,
I have a quite complex question about networked use of GNUbatch. I'm not sure, if it works fine.
I've two testing "clusters":
two Linux machines:
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11
PATCHLEVEL = 3
and two AIX machines:
7100-03-01-1341
I'm trying to get GNUbatch working in network. There are two flags for gbch-rr, to use it in the network ('-F' and '-G'). My machines are connected (same user IDs, GIDs), trusted - looking ok.
I can release a remote job like this:
gbch-rr -Q l31fis24p -G -C -q QT -h Touch_R GBCH_Touch_test.sh
But this just send the job to machine and it is not visible on initiating machine anymore! :-( (With -G or -F flag, it should be visible in the network)
Also trying to setup variables remotely
gbch-rr -Q l31fis24p -G -C -f N -s l31fis24p:QT_STATUS='QT-Touch_test_R-N' -q QT -h Touch_R GBCH_Touch_test.sh
Permission denied to assignment variable QT_STATUS by host l31fis24p
I can observe this behavior on both environments - AIX and Linux. Can you help me please? Any configuration mistakes, recommendetions? Could it be a bug?
I did not find anything on internet about this.
Thank you a lot in advance
