Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/24.3.50 (gnu/linux) |
With the latest emacs-snapshot, I have odd behaviour with buffer menu.
If I use the command as M-x buffer-menu it behaves as normal, but if I
assign it to a key:
(global-set-key [f2] 'buffer-menu)
it no longer puts the current buffer at the top of the list when invoked
by key (but remains correct if via M-x). This is a big problem, since I
commonly do things like "F2 d s x" and now find I have deleted the wrong
buffer!
More puzzling, if I "debug-on-entry" buffer-menu, it behaves correctly
even when invoked by key.
I'm using emacs-snapshot ("GNU Emacs 24.3.50.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+
Version 3.4.2) of 2013-04-10 on dex, modified by Debian") and this has
changed fairly recently.
Any clues?
Brendan
