Problems using minimap.el

Hey guys!

I'm currently trying out minimap.el and have some issues using it. I'm on vanilla Emacs 24.1.1 on Mac OS X.

First and foremost, i cannot navigate through the minimap, neither by mouse (wiki says i should drag the viewport. It just selects the minimap's text.) nor have i found any function to navigate the minimap page-wise while the editing-window gets sync'ed to the currently selected viewport automatically. Mouse-based navigation isn't necessary but the latter described functionality would come in handy, i guess.

I'm not crying for an update, however i'd like to know if the feature is implemented/planned and/or still buggy (on my system). Any information is highly appreciated!
