hallo,

i want to install emacs in mac os x, but i run into problems.
can you help me out?

here's what i did:

cvs -z3 -d:ext:anoncvs@savannah.gnu.org:/cvsroot/emacs co emacs
cd emacs
./configure --with-carbon --without-x
make bootstrap

this last step fails, the tail of the output reads:

(cd lispref; make info)
makeinfo -I. -I/opt/emacs/lispref /opt/emacs/lispref/elisp.texi -o /opt/emacs/lispref/../info/elisp ./locals.texi:202: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Yet to be written' (perhaps incorrect sectioning?). ./locals.texi:136: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Yet to be written' (perhaps incorrect sectioning?). makeinfo: Removing output file `/opt/emacs/lispref/../info/elisp' due to errors; use --force to preserve.
make[1]: *** [/opt/emacs/lispref/../info/elisp] Error 1
make: *** [info] Error 2

thanks in advance,
dimitri
