my system is GNU/Linux with
Xfree86-4.3.0.1
aterm-0.4.2
ncurses-5.3 (this is where the termcaps are from isnt it?)
emacs CVS from today
but i also experience problems on a SUN machine (have to wait till tomorrow for
specs)
