listing

hi all,

i want the listing of files/directories in Dired to be such that .*
files appear first, than those starting with a Capital letter and than
the rest of the files/directories in alphabetical order.

however, i see them in alphabetical order, where both the .* and
the "Capital" files are distributed according to their first letter.

i have tried to play with  Customize->Environment->Dired->Dired Listing
Switches but couldn't change it.

with the same .custom.el and .emacs.el files on another machine (with
Dired Listing Switches -al) it appeared just i want it. (i am now
working on Dell precision 420)

any hint?
