One thought I've been mulling over how to resolve is that of whether to {mail|silence|log} various output types from cf* processes. For instance I don't want to get mail about cfservd deleting expired locks, want to continue getting mail on cfagent actions as I've got the default set, but wouldn't mind setting some filters.
I don't know if this is something that would be simple to add, but I don't want to try using cfe logic to approach this. The most reliable though (short of having a "regex:action" ruleset) is to shoot all output to a file(s) and trigger a perl script to filter it, or pass off to syslog-ng. Having an internal mechanism for that would be cool, and as such we could make use of classes in the process..
Thanks for asking Mark :)

So, let's be certain - you want to log on the server-side and only if
the encrypt option is specified?
This seems like a sensible feature for everyone. Currently cfservd only
logs connections, if you ask for it, but I could quickly add such
functionality and make it available. Please tell me if you have any
other ideas in the same boat while I am doing this.
