Hi Islam,

Sorry for the late answer. I did check the institution box during the initial setup.

that's great!
i noticed that when you generate a report it opens the report in a word processor, its there a way to change that to export directly to pdf. i feel that generating a report in a form that can be editable could lead to data integrity issues

Version 1.0.6 of the Live-CD fixes that problem

Subject: [Health] [health] Health Institutions - Pharmacy
Hi all,

I just set up a fresh GnuHealth installation and installed a fresh database.
At first login, I configured a new company.
I read, either on previous threads or on the wiki that the fist company we create is the first health institution.  However, that company doesn't appear as a Health Institution in health_institutions  module. I'm doing something wrong ?

Second, Do we need to specify a health professional as an employee of a specific health instution ? From my understanding, all data related to a company is tied to that company and other users cannot have access to it. In that case, a physician can only see data related to its instution, right ? The patient privacy is then preserved. Am I wrong ?

Third, How to deal with the following two scenarios in Gnuhealth:
  1. the need of a central database for a consortium of hospitals who decide to share among things, all patient data, health professionals, etc.
  2. the need to authenticate a physican against only its institution

Last, I think the Pharmacy feature relies on Product module.
Do the administrator  need to create lots (stock_lot) for each medecine) he would like to be selling in the institution ?

Best.
Bidossessi.

Subject: [Health] billing the hospitalized patients
Hi all,

I want to be able to charge the hospitalized patient according to the time that he spent in my hospital and whatever services he got

what I did
so, the beds are products. I made a product template of type bed
price = 20$
cost =0$
UOM= Day

what I expected
is when I hospitalize a patient in that bed, if he stayed 5 days and make invoice for that patient I should charge him for 100$

but when I made the invoice found nothing

So what did I do wrong?

Can someone please help

I recommend you use the health_services module. It creates a service
document and you have the choice of generating the invoice directly
form there.

Please check the community server example. There is one case pretty
much similar at yours, with the health service document and the
associated invoice, with the final computation of service /
product lines.

Let us know if you could solve it.
