here is a new installation log 
installed on a brand new latest debian box

first install requirements:
postgresql and python-pip OK
createuser and sql account OK




some errors from ./gnuhealth_install.sh:

    ERROR: /bin/sh: 1: xslt-config: not found
    
    ** make sure the development packages of libxml2 and libxslt are installed **
  
creating build/temp.linux-x86_64-2.7/src/lxml

gcc -pthread -fno-strict-aliasing -DNDEBUG -g -fwrapv -O2 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -fPIC -I/home/gnuhealth/gnuhealth-2.2.1/build/lxml/src/lxml/includes -I/usr/include/python2.7 -c src/lxml/lxml.etree.c -o build/temp.linux-x86_64-2.7/src/lxml/lxml.etree.o

You probably missed the initial part, of the requirements for Debian /
Ubuntu.

I would start the installation from scratch. It will be a good training
process. Please let us know if you find any issues or bugs during the
process.

Let us also know the specific version and release of Debian that you're
using.
