Dear Luis,

I did everything like it is said in the wikibooks, but i cant find the current package for manual download of the gnuhealth 1.8 from source.

could you provide a link?

No. You should install Tryton 2.x and GNU Health 1.8.1 locally [1] (if
on Ubuntu, check the manual section of Debian and Derivatives )
Then, update  your DB [2] and you should be OK.
Of course, you don't need to create a new database, since you already
have it. What you basically need at this point is to extract the
sources from tryton and GNU Health in your new local directory.
