I've heard core-updates were merged to master. Congratulations!

Fixed minor collision against today's master in both patches. Attached
updated patches as:
  0001-gnu-add-basic-support-for-alpha-linux-system.patch
  0001-gnu-libffi-apply-alpha-build-fix.patch
