Do The Right Thing (versus, I guess, Do The Easiest Thing). It sums
up the general philosophical difference between C, C++, perl, etc.
and Common Lisp, Scheme, ML, etc. It was before my time, but I've also
seen it used to describe ITS in contrast to Unix (and recently, Linux
in contrast to Windows... go figure).
