This could be https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzr/+bug/239499, though it did
not manifest itself in this way back when I was working on fixing it.

I will try to upload a new one. In the meantime you could try with an
older bzr, or check out from the launchpad mirrors:
https://code.launchpad.net/guile-gnome.
