GtkExpander / Y Shrink / GtkWindow || Quiz

hello,

using glade-2, libglade and everything is fine. 

it's just that i am using a GtkExpander, and when expanding 
the window is Y growing, and only Y shrinking if I manually
reduce its size:

        is there a parameter somewhere that I can set so
        the window also shrink back to its original size
        when the expander is 'closed'
