The offending sys/socket.h says, in lines 97-100: 97 #ifndef _SOCKLEN_T 98 #define _SOCKLEN_T 99 typedef __darwin_socklen_t socklen_t; 100 #endif The man page for gethostbyname just says to #include <netdb.h>. Jay
