I've added a --enable-error-on-warning argument to ./configure and
I've been using it (once I commit it, I encourage other developers to
do the same). I'd really like for us to be -Werror clean, given
whatever set of warnings we deem appropriate.
So far, most of the files seem to be clean, but I just hit this
(probably minor) bug someone familiar with the code might want to
check.
