Yep, please work on them.
The 1.6 release *will* break existing code, I'm afraid, but it is
probably worth it. We should have a paragraph in the README that
talks about this, and ask people to update their code to work with 1.6
even if that means work.
We could accumulate common problems on the website and have the README
point there in advance.
