I think it might make sense to:

 - Mark .Ux as deprecated in groff_mdoc(7).
 - For .Os ATT, it might make sense to say in the text of the manual
   page that it was only used in 4.3BSD-Reno (June 1990) and 4.4BSD
   (June 1993) and in no other system ever and has been obsolete since
   4.4BSD-Lite1 (April 1994).  As it stands, it might cause the
   misleading impression that it might be useful in actual AT&T UNIX
   manual pages - but those never used it.  They never used mdoc(7)
   in the first place but raw roff up to v5, the old man macros in v6,
   and the man(7) macros that as still in use today in v7.
 - Put a comment into doc-old.tmac-u what that file is
   (i should probably send a patch for that).
