I loved my selectric. IBM donated it to me when I was at school since 
no one, including me, could easily read my handwriting! Up until my 
first electric  typewriter, an Olivetti, all my school work was written on 
A3 1 inch lined paper. but was very slow if it was to be legible! The 
selectric was much better, I could correct mistakes with the 
integrated correction tape. Nowadays I use the dasher program for 
all writing, except coding.
