Sort of. That is UBX-PVT-PRT. Not sure why you put the /dev/ttyACM0 at the
end. The -D 5 just turns up more debug info. That is pretty much
the defaults. The x20 in the x23 is the trick.

Sure, just exec() it. But prolly not the best way.

There are several gpsd python clients. Look at xgps for one way to do
it.
