Yo All!

I just uploaded a fix for the long broken check_compile part of
'scons check'.  With that I think all the problems so far with 
gpsd version 3.18 are resolved.  Most issues related to building,
checking, and running on minimal configurations.

Please got out and test.  I'd like to do a release 18.1 soon so there is
a clean tar ball for packagers.
