No hangs or crashes so far. I'll let it run.
No PPS info on gpsmon screen or log files. I see PPS via SHM so the PPS info
is getting into gpsd. ntpd/JSON has timings close to SHM/PPS rather than
SHM/Serial so I assume the PPS info is in the JSON stream.
It's dropping some data. This is extracted from a gpsmon log file talking to
a gpsd with 2 devices: one is SiRF text, the other is SiRF binary.
