Michael, yes.  The primary site is the GNU site.
The sourceforge site has been essentially abandoned.  

For the GNU site, there are certain proedures to
upload.  I will contact GNU so they officially
recognize you as the maintainer and you can upload,
using something like GPG signed archives.  This will
take some time, so for now I can do the upload to the
GNU ftp site.  The GNU web pages can be updated via
CVS on  Savannah.gnu.org.
The atai.org site was a temporary placeholder; I
forget to update freshmeat to remove it.  Maybe it
should point to your ftp site instead.

I shall also transfer the gpaint directory on
freshmeat to you. I will look up how to do this.
