yep, it looks like it could work ............... but you maybe misunderstood.
Only the gomd daemon itself will read from /proc/hpc ! ;)
The functions+methods in libgomd should connect to the gomd-socket
and read the values from there.
So we first have to define an "interface" between the gomd and the libgomd
functions. Currently this interface is the "shell-menu" where you can type
1,2,3,4,0 to get values or execute/set commands (or exit)
Also the libgomd should be compiled against the commoncpp too
to be able to use similar socket commands as the gomd.

anyways many thanks for your code ;)
Maybe we can enhance the getprocentry method in the gomd with that.
