Anyone who doesn't currently have access to github should sign up for an account and request access to the project.

Here's my plan....

1) Make github our main repo.
2) Mirror to savannah and to a local gitlab instance (either on my machine here or on AWS)

This way we have redundancy and people on github can better review and contribute (so long as they have a copyright assignment in place) to the project.

Any objections?

I just successfully rsynced everything to my local machine.  I will start tonight putting everything into git.   The question still is where do we go?  Do we make the mirror on github the official hosting for GNUstep?

I sent Gregory the command to rsync a backup of the SVN repo.

Maybe it's time to finally do a switch to Git?

I can help migrating Monday if the SVN comes back up.

Next 2d I am at FOSDEM.

This is confirmed by news on their site...

Yeah, guys, we need to find new hosting.  I may create a mirror here on my local machine or finally get everything over to git on savannah, but we have to move off of GNA post haste.

Hey guys,

I just was made aware of this...  pardon me if I missed it because I have been kind of busy over the last couple of months with my day job.  Here is the email:

It seems, given this... if true, we have little choice but to find new hosting either on savannah or someplace else.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, GC
