Great, I've applied the patch to current CVS. But I would rather not include 
the binary libintl.dll.a in the CVS, is there no way to put in the code and 
change the build system such that it will compile it!? The libltdl 
subdirectory does have some "cygwin" specifics in it, so I would expect that 
we should be able to build it using the code in there. If we need to 
update/change the code in libltdl/ a bit, so be it; but please no binaries 
:-).

Well, Krista got it to compile, you got it to link, I think that's great 
progress :-).
