Not having looked at Jabber and not particularly caring to
have to set up a jabber server this is one authentication
scheme I could live with for now:
Upon connecting to a server the client needs to provide the
backend connection parameters with which the server
establishes the needed connection(s). No backend
authentication - no data for the frontend. About the same
level of security as now.
