2 separate owl thoughts:


Gunnar mentioned adding a new classification (c) in aa_attackpats.
A classification like this might also be useful for the owl databases,
to split up some of the quite specific patterns.  Agreed?
  

There are three types of attack moves that could be considered separately:
 1) remove eye (typically single) completely
 2) consolidate large eye-space into single eye
 3) block escape
Similarly three types of defense moves:
 1) expand eye space.
 2) split large eye space in half.
 3) escape.

Perhaps pattern attributes would be appropriate for these, as they
conceivably could be considered separately (to avoid branching).  This
requires more thought, but I'll float the idea for comments.
