GNU ports.

Hi,

The GNU ports system is comming along nicely, lots of hacking has been
done and lots more awaits. It still can't build binary packages since
the format hasn't been settled yet, but when that is done it will be a
easy task to make the GNU ports system support binary packages (both
installation wise, and build wise). Right now the only "tested"
packages are the onces that are included in the sub-hurd meta package.
So feel free to test stuff, and report any problems (with or without
fixes). Documentation still needs to be written, so if someone wishes
to do that, I'll just be happy. The usual comments about anything in
the tree are also welcome.

Now, I'm going on my annual vacation on the 28th (will be back around
July 25th or so). I'll try to do some hacking during that time, but
don't expect anything, and don't expect me to read my email since I
probobly won't have a Internet connection.

Cheerio and happy hacking!
