$ baz make-archive -h | grep tla
-t, --tla Create a tla format archive.
Existing tla format archives will stay in that format -- baz doesn't
automatically convert them. For new archives, you can use the --tla option
to baz make-archive.
I believe you can even have your local archive in baz format, but mirror it
in tla format.
