The error message (as usual with tla :-) sucks, but make-archive also
registers the archive, and clearly an absolute path is required for that.

The UI code could make a relative path absolute, but I think it's better if
it doesn't, to make it clear to the user exactly what path will be used for
future accesses to the archive, and to make the syntactic distiction between
URIs and file-paths more clear.
