This was the default in 0.6.22, but in the current cvs it is changed. 
You don't have to run make in the smsd directory manually. It is called 
automatically by the main make file.

Same pattern is true for the modules (mysql, postgres and file) as i 
described above.
The modules that need to be build are autodetected now.
