Thanks, I now figured out what I needed to modify in compat.h. Unfortunately here comes the next compile problem:

gmake[1]: Entering directory `/opt/source/gnokii-0.6.14/gnokii'
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii.o gnokii.c
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii-calendar.o gnokii-calendar.c
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii-dial.o gnokii-dial.c
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii-file.o gnokii-file.c
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii-logo.o gnokii-logo.c
gcc -g -O2 -Wall  -I../include    -c -o gnokii-monitor.o gnokii-monitor.c
gnokii-monitor.c: In function `displayoutput':
gnokii-monitor.c:388: warning: implicit declaration of function `fcntl'
gnokii-monitor.c:388: error: `F_SETFL' undeclared (first use in this function)
gnokii-monitor.c:388: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
gnokii-monitor.c:388: error: for each function it appears in.)
gnokii-monitor.c:388: error: `O_NONBLOCK' undeclared (first use in this function)
gmake[1]: *** [gnokii-monitor.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/source/gnokii-0.6.14/gnokii'
gmake: *** [gnokii] Error 2

What's the problem now ? (Am I the only stupid guy trying to compile gnokii on Solaris 10 ? ;-))

Regards

It's against CVS. Anyway, the patch is that trivial that you may
change the file manually.

take care,
