Hi,

I have this php file which containns an exec() function for executing gnokii
commands. When I execute this php file in the command line, the gnokii
command gets executed. But if I try to execute the php file via the browser,
the gnokii command doesn't execute. Help please

I looked at the error_log file of apache I think,
and this is what I get when I do 'tail /opt/lampp/logs/error_log'

Cannot lock device.
Lock file error. Exiting.
Cannot open logfile: Permission denied
WARNING: cannot open logfile, logs will be directed to stderr
GNOKII Version 0.6.12
LOG: debug mask is 0x1
Lockfile /var/lock/LCK..ttyS0 is stale. Overriding it..
Overriding failed, please check the permissions.
