I have been trying to use smsd and xgnokii with my system (slackware 10.2 with 2.6.13.2 kernel) without any success. It is strange to me because I can use gnokii wihtout any problems whatsoever (connect using dku-5) but whenever I try to run smsd or xgnokii I just get a long list of "SM_Block: exiting the retry loop". I've tried looking into the source for any clues to what this might mean but I am completely lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
